This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
hehy gurrl. So like find a picture, make a grid on it, and then take a blank grid and try and reproduce the picture? orr..? cuz i can see how it will help me draw a picture, but not how it will help with proportions. sorry if im just being stupid..
if you didn't know... there is a scrap album. for unfinished pictures. [ not meant in a mean way!]
for most of your pictures you need to decide on a focal point [point of center interest..]this will draw people into your art, and eventually lead them around the entire picture.
secondly, I've noticed all of your pictures contain a lot of empty [ or white] space. you want your viewers to focus on what you've drawn, not the empty page. try filling it in with colors or shades of black.
[link] here is a link to view the principles of art. [link] and a link to the elements of art. this will help your drawings appear more attractive to the eyes. [not that they aren't!]
And last of all, If you're ever having difficuties draw a person/object, use a reference picture. I do alll the time. it's kind of like cheating, but not. lol. and if you find it hard, or try to be a perfectionist like myself you can use a grid. this technique is VERY useful when learning proportions. [btw, I get all of my references from photobucket, i find them the best ]
anything else you'd like to know, just ask. I'm not an expert or anything but i did take like 7 art classes in highschool. lol!
oh since i have no reference to your shading abilities i'll just say this. The best media to learn to shade [ in my opinion] are water colors and chalk pastels. they are both pretty messy though.
im guessing you really love vash hey. i do too ^^!!
